MEETING PROGRAM AND INFORMATION

The combined Washington State/Oregon Chapters of the American College of Surgeons annual meeting is June 9 through 12, 2016 at Sunriver Resort near Bend, Oregon. Our committee, headed by Chet Hammill, MD FACS and Evan Ong, MD FACS is working hard to bring an outstanding group of guest speakers to lead discussions.

CME and MOC

This activity is designed for surgeons, physicians and nurses. We will apply with the The American College of Surgeons for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Of the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ listed above, some will include credits that meet the requirements for Self-Assessment (MOC).

In order claim CME credit you must both sign the sign in sheet and turn in an evaluation sheet at end of the time you are attending sessions. The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

In order to claim CME, attendees must fill out the evaluation form. On the form there will be a box for total CME claimed. It also requires your ACS number. You will either fill out an evaluation form before you left or download the form.
